Some items on this page are marked pending legal review. They are the statements that require counsel rather than a description of how the site works, and they are marked rather than guessed. This page is final before BeautyVetted accepts its first patient request in public.

BeautyVetted is a research directory. Patients use it free, and we never charge a patient anything. This page describes exactly what we collect and where it goes.

What we collect when you request a match

The consultation form asks for six things, and that is the whole list: the procedure you are researching, your city, your first name, one way to reach you (an email address or a phone number), your rough timing, and the page you were on when you submitted. If you arrived from a link with campaign tags, we store those tags and the site that referred you, so we can tell which of our content actually helps people.

We do not ask for your last name, your date of birth, your address, your medical history, your insurance, or any payment details, because we do not need them to connect you with a surgeon.

Who we share it with

We'll connect you with up to 3 verified surgeons. This is free for you and free for the practice. Those practices receive what you entered on the form so they can contact you about a consultation. We do not sell your details to anyone, we do not run an auction, and no practice can pay us to be routed more patients. Routing is free for practices at every tier, and it always will be.

A practice that pays for Featured placement gets visibility, and nothing else. It does not get priority in routing, more patients, exclusivity, or a territory.

What we measure, and what we deliberately do not

We record anonymous page views and a small fixed set of interaction events: a page view, a claim click, a click through to a practice's own website, a view of an upgrade offer, and an arrival from an AI assistant. Each event stores the page path and, where relevant, which city, procedure or practice the page was about.

These events carry no personal information at all. Not your name, not your contact details, not an identifier that links back to a request you submitted. The server rebuilds every event from a fixed allowlist rather than storing what the browser sends, so a field cannot be added by accident.

Cookies

The patient side of this site sets no cookies. There is one cookie on the whole service: a session cookie for practices that have claimed a profile and signed in to their dashboard. Our traffic analytics are cookieless. There are no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, and no cross-site profiling.

How long we keep it

Contact details are encrypted at rest and kept only as long as they are useful to the introduction you asked for. Retention period: Retention period — pending legal review .

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to Data-request address — pending legal review , or to [email protected]. If a surgeon profile or a credential status on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it — the correction process is described on our methodology page.

Health information

HIPAA status — pending legal review Regardless of that status, we encrypt personal details at rest and keep the minimum we need.

California residents

CCPA position — pending legal review What we can state plainly today: we do not accept money in exchange for routing your details to a practice, and no practice can buy access to more patients.

Not medical advice

BeautyVetted does not provide medical advice. The information on this site helps you research, and a consultation with a board-certified surgeon is the place for medical decisions.
